Brittania Meta Liberators

The Brittania Meta Liberators or the BML were an organised founded by several early Quirk users including one William Sinclair. Founded in 1992, they originally started out with peaceful protests against government oppression against the newly rising Quirk population. Gradually however, they began to devolve into more aggressive riots and crimes further down the line. Below are the known incidents attributed to the BML.
Scotland Yard Arson.
One of the first recorded crimes of the BML, after the arrest and subsequent death in jail of one of the BML leadership, new Scotland Yard was assaulted by several fire-based Quirk users. The event caused the building and everyone inside to be burned to the ground, before sparking further rioting across the city of London. This caused the death of thousands and the declaration of the BML as a terrorist organization.
Royal Christmas Massacre.
12 members of the BML snuck into royal palaces and estates across the country on December 24th, 2012. Working in tandem, they systematically wiped out the royal family and all workers, guards and witnesses to the last soul, leaving only a single recording at each crime scene. While historically the exact identities of the 12 members are unknown, there were numerous arrests and prosecutions due to these events.
Eve of the End.
On June 7th, 2021, after the recess of the House of Commons and House of Lords, the BML rose up en masse- storming the Houses of Parliament and breaking through its protections. They slaughtered all of the Lords and MP's present at the time, while others accessed records and files, which began the destruction of the United Kingdom. After the destruction of the Houses of Parliament, the BML began hunting down any and all remnants of the government- taking out anyone that attempted to stop them, even overrunning the surrounding countries in the process. By the end of August that same year, the UK no longer existed as a nation. By August the following year, due to an overwhelming push from the BML, the Republic of Ireland was destroyed as well.
From 2022, the BML seemingly fractured into individual factions, with warlords each taking a chunk of the country for themselves. Ceasing to exist as an organisation by 2046
