Mystic

This Power Type was added to the Frizzell Scale in 2026.
The Mystic Power Type is a "meta type" associated with powers that derive from "magic". Depending on the individual hero, this power can emulate any other type. However, all powers gained from this type depend on the user's skill with magic, and some other powers interact in specific ways with Mystic powers. For instance, all "demons" are extremely susceptible to magical damage, while some powers consist of shutting down magical powers.
This power type was added to the Frizzell Scale after Mr. Doom first opened the Gaping Maw and attacked New York with an army of demons. Some superhuman's power were more effective against his troops to the extent that it became obvious they were of a different nature.
