Breakout

This Power Type was added to the Frizzell Scale in 2028.
The Breakout Power Type is associated with powers that drastically change the physical or mental characteristic of the user or people around them. It is also used as a "meta type" for powers that derive from said changes. All "mutants", superhumans that have a non-human appearance, are classified as Breakout Type 4.
Breakout has a deeper classification than other powers : first, they have a Permanent or Temporary tag, a Self or Other tag and then the number of their alternative changes, followed by the type of each form (from 1 to 4).
Type 1 : Breakouts that turn into existing individuals, such as other humans.
Type 2 : Breakouts that turn into existing creatures, such as cats, dogs or plants
Type 3 : Breakouts that turn into modified version of existing creatures, like a wolf covered in bone plates.
Type 4 : Breakouts that turn into original, non-existing creatures.

In 2028, the Changeling Power Type was cut into two different types : Breakouts, who turn flesh into living beings, and Transmuters who turn into non-living matter or phenomenon.
