Comedian

Comedian is a character subclass of Bard. They tend to be masters of every kind of humor, and can use it to advance themselves and their friends' statuses in society fairly quickly.

Feats

• Inside Joke — Starting at level 3, when a friendly creature (who understands one of the same languages as your character) uses a die granted by Bardic Inspiration, they add your Charisma modifier to the roll as well. This can be performed the number of times equal to your Charisma Modifier per long rest.
• Comedy Gold — At level 6, as an action (once per long rest), all creatures (who understand one of the same languages as your character) with 25 feet make a Wisdom saving throw against your Spell Save DC (allies have advantage on this save). On a failed save, all creatures are affected by Tasha's Hideous Laughter
• The Killing Joke — At level 15, as an action (once per long rest), you can tell a joke (as a form of casting Tasha's Hideous Laughter) which forces an entity to make a constitution saving throw (with DC being your Spell Save DC). If the entity understands the language the joke is told in, they are beneath the player in level, and they fail the saving throw, they begin to laugh uncontrollably until they are unconscious or they die.

There are two basic types of comedians: jesters and toons.
Jesters tend to play within the laws of reality, and can apply just about any type of humor. They are masters of speech, and are extremely cunning. They rely on themselves and their connections in high places to be able to achieve, just about anything.
Toons tend to ignore the laws of reality completely, having made a pact with the god of laughter, Gelos. Having done so grants toons the ability to break the laws of physics and reality in a number of ways, but under the conditions that they cannot kill anyone or anything, and what they do must be considered funny by Gelos.
Each class may have different specialties, such as improvisational comedy, anti-humor, dark comedy, burlesque, character comedy, comedic music, physical or prop comedy, sketch comedy, and many more, depending on if they multiclass. For instance, if a Bard is both a Comedian and a Musician, then they can perform comedic music. If they are both a Puppeteer and a Comedian, then they can do comedic ventriloquism.
