River Trolls

The Avontelu are one of the six Troll Clans. They are called River Trolls by the ignorant, but many Avontelu Trolls will abide in small bodies of freshwater large enough to fully submerge them. Some Avontelu will agree to protect river bridges in exchange for living under them. Only the most powerful or persuasive of foes can cross a troll-gaurded bridge.

Structure

Trolls regard social hierarchies with extreme distaste, but if a Standing Stone speaks, a troll will listen. Because Standing Stones are all deceased trolls, it means that a dead soul has come back to the land of the living to give advice, and the advice of a dead troll is worth heeding.

Public Agenda

Trolls seek little but to preserve their land and thus their way of life. Few who harm troll-land knowingly and needlessly will live to tell the tale, for the wrath of a troll is inescapable.

Assets

Many trolls are armed with tools of stone, but some of the only armories are found in Mynydori homes, and even those are often empty.
