The countess Cecile rules over a terrified and infected populace. A plague ravages the land, turning common folk into savage blood thirsty monsters. Cities are unable to treat the infected and turn to grim hunters for help, who cut through infected and clean alike in their misguided purges. A group of scientists create potions that can cure any ailment, heal any wound, but fail in their quest to stop the Feral Plague. As the cities attempted to control the destruction from within holy knights attempt to hold the evils of the wild at bay, crumbling against their relentless predations.
