History

Taimi has spent the majority of their life with the Summer Court elves, but became increasingly an outcast when they became romantically involved with a human, Carrith Sarona. When she passed away in the midst of birthing their child, the event was a diplomatic blemish to the Summer Court in addition to being sacriligious to the highly earthborn-focused society. Taimi was cast out from the court altogether and their child, a half-elf named Dain, was placed in orphanage care at Lady's Watch. Taimi did not stay there and wandered initially through orc lands, able to face neither elf nor human anymore, but a wandering elf made of potent alchemical leaf material with no protection of the summer court is a dangerous thing to be in the wilderness. Eventually Taimi was caught by necromancers and held captive with the intent to harvest them, but when a young orc child by the name of Lapis discovered them and what was happening, Lapis released and unbound Taimi, and the two of them escaped the horrific camp together. They returned to Lady's Watch together and Taimi stayed to help the town and keep watch over the orphans, including Dain. Ashamed at having been absent for their child's first 8 years and scarred by their previously harmful interaction with humans, Taimi doesn't reveal their parental status; they spend their days taking odd-jobs for the town and donating goods, toys and gifts to the orphanage.

About

Taimi is a very slim and tall elf, with subtle leaf patterns and greenness along their skin as well as a fair amount of physical scars and a partially removed left ear from their captivity. Taimi is categorically helpful to the townsfolk and takes small pleasure in being able to bring smiles to faces with their foraged goods and courier work, and can be constantly seen running to and fro in the town when not in the woods. Their need for very little nourishment and rest enables them to work longer hours, taking on new jobs every other week, it seems. Their companion, Barrow, was discovered during a routine hunting trip as a cub, a somewhat rare plant related bear much like Taimi themselves.
