321 A.D.

Dynamus is a world of technology and magic. Ever since the gods were wiped out in a bloody conflict that destroyed a large section of the Eastern continent, the world has changed drastically. In the span of only about 300 years, it’s gone from technology similar to the medieval times to resembling (technology-wise) the 1920s. In the West, industrialization runs rampant and magical technology is everywhere. In the East, industrialization has been embraced in some places but some nations continue to resist its influence. In the upper part of the East, half-beasts, reptilians and orcs hold a tense alliance that’s allied them to have carved out kingdoms from the remains of religious kingdoms that collapsed after the gods died. This battle between unending progress and holding onto old beliefs and morals has made Dynamus a tense place ready to break out into lawlessness, its governments losing power as its citizens gain it.
