It is separated from Lyn by the vast verdant ocean called the Gloam roughly 900 miles wide, and by the island of Xhuraste, which serves as an intermediate port that is utilized as a center of trade and communication between the two maritime powers. It is east of Lyn, north of the Nine, and south of the Dynammus Continent, also known as Messalm or the Messalmsi Empire. It is notably ruled by a Namba Gwaif, the Shaiyii monarch of the empire.

Nicknamed the House that Holds Houses, Dago Grohiwan-Owanze is a vast residence, holding government officials, royal family, and most notably, slaves. Hundreds of them. Bedslaves, houseslaves, and field workers, all in the small cabins below Dago Grohiwan-Owanze known as the Rhihaiyi, the community of slaves under the Namba Gwaif. Unlike its neighbor nations of the Midlandic Ocean, slavery is still very much alive in the Shaiyi, most slaves arriving from the Sunset Ocean. The current Namba Gwaif is Rogo ba Torube, officially known as Rogo Gwaif. Other industries that is more well known in the Messalmsi region are the great industry of Shaiyii steel, the most famous steel in all the world of Duxur. These can be cut into long ornate scimitars and little knives that can be thrown from two leagues away. Its edges are extremely keen and are always patterned with water-like or wood-like patterns that look extremely wavy and intricate in its patterning. Sold mostly to the Lynese, the Messalmsi, and the Telopians, it is considered one of the most important products of recent history.
