A squad of Montaigne fighters were the paragon of noble tactical coordination!”Theobald (“Theo” to his family) looks like an old wolf uncomfortably stuffed into a nobleman’s outfit. He is missing one eye and must use a cane to walk, but he still possesses a military man’s fierce gaze and presence. His history of service to the city of Waterdeep was such that even now, decades after he had to retire, he is considered beyond reproach and his fiery public invectives against worshippers of evil gods within walls of Waterdeep (Shar cultist in particular) has kept up his image of a stern and righteous man. Behind closed doors, however, he is much more warm and quick to laughter. After he was no longer able to serve the city of Waterdeep as a City Watchmen, he thought his purpose was over. But then he met the wonderfully fiery Aurora and had two perfect children with her and realized fatherhood suited him far more than anything else in his life ever had. Let the rest of noble houses bicker until they were breathless; preparing his children for the burdens of noble life is his life’s work now. Though he wishes Tully had been the one to take after him and not Larissa since he was the eldest, he’s learned to love what has there instead of wishing his children were something else.
