Osit-Sayor Stadium

Purpose / Function

Osit created this building due to an old dream of his to become a gladiator. He decided to build a massive stadium that would hold an even more massive army of gladiators. This link of gladiators helps Osit make money from countries, private organizations, in hiring other gladiators. This mutually beneficial program has been stable for 10 years now, and has no signs of stopping.

Alterations

The size has been expanded as more money has been made. The central arena has also been rigged to float via a group of sorcerers working with artificers. A series of pistons now holds up several other platforms for fighting. The pistons also help create difficult terrain.

Architecture

Inspired by the Achmundian style of arenas, the bottom and top of the arena are adorned with gems, armor and minerals from past competitiors. The Achmundian dome, a crucial architectural feature helps the artificers create systems of engineering to give the illusion of levitation to the arena. Meanwhile, a control button in Osit's office can change the entire style of the dome switching it to a tiled mosaic-like structure. The audience's chairs are carved from granite and many of the decorations are carved from marble.

History

Originally, the site was a place of a brutal massacre via cult leaders. Because of this, sale in the land was extremely cheap. This allowed Osit to create a mediocre stadium and build up to the engineering/architectural masterpiece it is today.

Tourism

Tourists come from all over to see the fight, help arrange the fight, or even enter the fight. Because of the sheer amount of revenue options coming from the stadium, many have said Osit is one of the smartest businessman of the decade. Most are gladiators, some are depressed peasants who spent all their money to see something grand.
