Two seas swell by the edge of the world and beneath shimmering stars. Two empires control this world ruling over swathes of land. Merchant guilds rule the east and feudal monarchies rule the west. A council of gods gradually losing strength tries to hold together a divided humanity. Religious fanaticism grows and has built deep rooted theocracies across the world. A divided devious world is embroiled in a constant war. Let us meet some of the fighters. The east sea is built upon a system of guilds and merchant alliances. They formed their wealth on a pearly white substance known as Cradish. It was used by all people across the world. The West Sea Empire is comprised of feudal kings who swear an allegiance to an elected emperor. The emperor then leads the coalition of princes in the empire in a system that resembles this worlds Holy Roman Empire. In the East is an island known as Aktish which has had a rough changing history. Their government oscillates between religious extremism, feudal monarchy and universal democracy. They have had several civil wars and are now controlled by the sect of Edd an extremist organisation vowing for world domination and suppressing dissent. In a far Western Steppe the ground functions as the anvil upon which empires are formed. Those who live on the Western Steppe are mainly nomadic shepherd wandering from pasture to pasture. They ride a horse like creature and are a formidable military force. Far to the north there is a string of isolated monasteries that have allied themselves together into a large nation know to guard the entrances to the far northern tundra. They live at a high altitude and claim to speak to the gods. They sit on a large mountain range standing above the rest of the world. On an archipelago in the Western sea an isolated culture has developed its government around the sea. Their chief is traditionally thrown into the sea when sworn in and they are the most navaly adept nation on earth. Far in the south is a jungle full of tribes who have never set foot outside the jungle. They are surrounded by a wall of green foliage and have not been contacted by outside nations. Similarly there are a group of people living in deep swamps and marshes isolated from the rest of the world. They have developed a unique untouched culture and have never yet been conquered due to the surrounding marches, roads are scarce in those regions and few have ever been outside their own local villages in this region.   The world is a fraught and ever changing place no nation is safe from the ever changing landscape of this strange world.
