Haole (Ha-oh-lay)

Haole was the god of commerce, hospitality to foreigners, and sailing. The patron god of Vedalken, he was somewhat distant and unemotional which made him a good symbol for business, but he was ultimately caring when it came to hospitality. He also came to represent goblinoids who had joined Hui Kūokoa more recently, including Goblin, Hobgoblin, Bugbear, and Koalinth. It was followers of Haole, mostly among vedalken, goblinoid,  and Tortle people, who enaged in trade missions or acted as merchants to nearby towns and nations. Haole’s avatar was a golden frigatebird, though he was sometimes portraid as a stern vedalken dressed in noble clothes.
