Cord

Cord is the title given to the leader of member city-states within the Northern Knot. All Cords within the organization are viewed on equal footing, although the Cord of Anglersgate is given the honorific 'First Cord of the Knot' for their role in hosting meetings of the other Cords and as the official spokesperson for the federation.
