Dungeon World

This is a world full of gods and heroes, airships and magic, ready for the stories of the new heroes of an age who battle in the face of incredible evils.   Long ago, an ancient titan tricked the god of secrets into betraying his kin. The cataclysm that followed shaped and scarred the world, tearing the main continent in two. Cities and temples were shattered, and their haunted ruins scattered to the far reaches.   In the great battle, many of the gods were killed by the powerful titan. Truth was the first to fall, shrouding the world in mystery. Ocean left the seas foaming and swirling. The Hunt’s great horn was broken. The Black Gate now stands unguarded, and restless souls slip through the cracks.   The peoples of the world slowly rebuilt, but with the gods divided by the betrayal, the world is darker and harsher than before. Divine boons are given more grudgingly, and religious feuds become righteous wars as the gods scheme and plot to turn their followers against one another.   100 years ago, a travelling wizard and her druid companion discovered a wondrous secret inside the floating islands of Ouranos. The crystals formed deep underground could be manipulated and controlled, their lifting powers harnessed by magic and technology. They built the first airships and founded the Silver Tower Airship Company.   Now, the world is changing as airship technology sparks an industrial revolution like never seen before. As it changes there are many working to take advantage of the resulting turmoil. Dark forces whisper in the secret places of the world, telling dire prophecies of doom to come…
