Following a short siege, Kalashu was sacked the Siratti confederation. As the invaders defeated the Kalu chariot forces in the shadow of the city's walls, they sent another force through the sewers and up into the city. Stinking of shit, those men threw the gates open, after which the Siratti hordes poured inside. They burned everything could be burnt, killed anyone who resisted, and stripped the palace and Ziggurat of Nimgala of anything valuable. The survivors were divided among the victorious Siratti as the spoils of war, along with the gold, silver, jewels, bronze, and fine cloth taken from the vanquished city.
