Sull
The country of Sull is a heavily forested and mountain-covered land primarily stewarded by the races of the Dwarves. Its boundaries stretch from the west of Suria all the way to Dugond's northwestern coast.
Geography
Most of the region is treacherously cold with pine forests that stand facing the harsh winds whipping down the jagged, unforgiving mountains. Only in the southernmost part of the country towards Dalasur does the harsh terrain abate and become grassy plains. Central Sull is a barren realm covered by vast fields of thin weeds and razer-sharp slate.
The Silvermist Forest
The forest of Silvermist is a dark and savage place, avoided by the dwarves at large and anyone else wise enough to recognise it's danger. It's said that the evil the haunts the land is even present in the fog that surrounds the forest and represents it's namesake. Early explorers described the area as being "clad in a forest of dark fir". Smaller plants and undergrowth collected safely from the edges of the Silvermist include lichen, ivy, fungus and "herbs with pale leaves and unpleasant smells". Pockets of the forest are said to be dominated by Great Spiders. The animals seen within (of which examples are few) have adopted endemic black varieties to match the mirk of the forest: for example squirrels and purple emperor butterflies. Some of those animals proved to be surprisingly inedible, when the dwarves attempted to hunt them in order to obtain extra food.
