The Skirax Belcher

What’s better than a slug that secretes one of the most caustic substances ever discovered? How about collecting that corrosive slime, and putting it in a specialized cannon? Now, get drunk, invent a system that - defying the laws of the universe - is able to multiply the amount of dangerous slug juice a thousand fold at a time. Sound weird? Sound dangerous?
Well, that’s exactly what Drin designer Mazabot did. Drunk, but out of booze and wanting to get even more wasted, Mazabot tinkered until he had built the “Skirax Belcher,” a bizarre flamethrower-esque contraption that shoots the slime from the Skirax slug - and can also multiply that slime into thousands of gallons. When he sobered up, he couldn’t remember how it worked, nor make the system generate anything OTHER than more slime, but he knew a good business opportunity when he saw one, and sold the Belcher at auction.
Now out in the wild, the Belcher has become highly sought after by various factions: some merely want it as a curiosity, some for its potential for mass destruction, and still others hoping to crack the secret of its self-replicating technology - for good and for evil.
