CCAS Department of Allied Militaries

The Civil Concordance was founded with the idea of ending conflict between worlds and species - but not everyone agrees, of course. When diplomacy fails, the Department of Allied Militaries (DAM) is there to step in.
The DAM is a sprawling military organization, largely made up of personnel, weapons, and vehicles pledged from Concordance member-states. They patrol the edges of the Concordance, perform defensive actions, provide relief services, and generally maintain order throughout the territory.
The majority of the Concordance's military might comes from the Kraeth and Thrakians, two of the oldest members of the Concordance, although there are contributions from all member-states. Additionally, specialized personnel, especially amongst Intel-teams and Sci-teams, owe their allegiance directly to the Concordance, rather than any particular country or species. 
In the event of a conflict, the DAM is able to call upon the aid of any member-state's sovereign military, adding their might to that already assigned to the DAM directly. This has allowed the Concordance to field a massive army and fleet.
