Arial's Lotus

Arial’s Lotus once belonged to Arial Vaharic, an ancient Elravian royal guard. Elravians were well known for two things: their penchant for war, and their ability to channel the elements, though each person could only channel one. Earth, wind, water, and fire. They needed special conduits to do so, but every one of the Elravians could channel if they had one. In order to use the conduit, the Elravian must attune it to their element. The conduit will forever remain attuned to that element. Arial had the ability to channel the previously unknown element, ether. Ether being the element of life, the energy that sustains all living things. She remained the only one of her people to ever channel ether. As a royal guard, she was supplied with a Lotus containing an elemental conduit. When she attuned to it, it became a weapon the likes of which had never been seen before. Arial’s Lotus has life-steal capabilities. One hit and the ether of another was transferred to her, withering the body to a husk and making her virtually immortal. She gained the years they had left and their vitality. She faithfully served the royal family for millennia, changing the course of many wars and securing the future of the Elravian race. Or so they thought.
After 7000 years of servitude and tens of thousands of kills, Arial’s mind was broken. Those of her race did not live past a century. She fled her homeworld, and hid her Lotus on a remote, uninhabited planet. That was 20,000 years ago. Without Arial to fight for them, the royal family was overtaken and the Elravian society crumbled in war after war. A far as we know, there are no Elravians left.
The Lotus weapons were made of materials that do not break down over time. They remain in perfect condition, unless damaged or broken by force.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

The Lotus' were rifles with conduits, created specifically for the Royal Guard. The conduit allowed the initial user to attune the the weapon, giving that weapon their element property. Arial's Lotus is attuned the to element of ether, and she is the only known elemental user of ether in all of Elravian history.
