Cult of the Third Moon

The cult of the third moon worships Zelline, Banished Goddess of the third moon. They wish to recall her with a ritual during the the next lunar conjunction, when both moons show full in the sky.

Mythology & Lore

Zelline was the youngest of the three sister goddesses of the moons. The first two sisters, Leora and Aeona, were kind and loved mortals. The youngest sister, however was volotile and threw tantrums that caused tsunamis and earthquakes. she delighted in being chaotic and unpredictable. Though the two elder sisters loved Zelline, they knew they must stop her from hurting the helpless mortals.
When Zelline was sleeping on the other side of the planet, her sisters summoned a great iron mountain (a giant meteor.) from beyond the stars. When she awoke, the mountain ripped into her seat of power, the third moon, and created the debris belt, before plummeting down to the planet, and greating the Thelan sea.
