Drolicht

The year 3347 of Dro's Salvation, 4th month

Drolicht is a world where life is cheap and often short. The land is primarily dotted with feudal kingdoms with a occasional empire and the rare "eccentric" forms of government. Large expanses of wild, untamed, and hostile land often separate kingdoms. Fey, Aberrations, Magical Beasts, and other dangers beings prowl the edges and sometimes the center of civilization. Indifferent at best, and sweeping the land of all weaker life at worst.   Magic is common enough to seen by peasants but not sufficiently powerful to greatly increase the quality of life of Drolicht's inhabitants. Mostly it is used for self interest of magic users themselves or the lords they serve. Magic is mostly destructive and rarely constructive force in the world. Additionally calamities often occur from those who seek greater and greater magical power.     Mechanically the world is designed for epic 6 pathfinder play. Characters max out at sixth level, and instead gain feats instead of levels for subsequent power advancement. This and other changes bring the power level of the world down, and prevents the player characters from becoming essentially untouchable from "common" people.
