She only thought of getting off the boring planet and seeing the universe. She knew that if she could make it to an Imperial base she would be allowed to Enlist without any questions since she was not born in the Imperium. Every day she scraped together money to pay for passage and when she was 18 and legally able to Enlist she took a Free Trader berth to the recruiting station at Fist.   She worked hard, despite her general lack of knowledge about anything outside of the poor life she knew as a farmergirl, and passed the OCS exam to be commissioned as an officer. She was seen as an eyesore by many of the other officer candidates who looked down on her humble beginnings but she put in the effort and worked hard until she surpassed them.    While on deployment with the 115th Armored Frontier Division, "Kerid's Thousand", they fought to rescue a passenger liner shot down by religious zealots on Scaladon. The theocracy of that planet restrict air travel and while visiting passenger liners flount this decree daily as they correctly believe that any attack on them would bring down the military of the Imperium on this small Imperial holding on the border of the Imperium border, this time a shot was fired and the unarmored ship took a direct shot to the M-Drive.   Lieutenant Dox led her troops to Recon against a Scaladan holding which was thought to hold additional anti-air weaponry in an attempt to pacify and dismantle the enemy before attempting the rescue. What she found was instead a massive stockpile of fusion bombs. Enough munitions to make any planet in the sector uninhabitable for generations. Taking the initiative she assaulted the base in the night and killed the High priest before securing the bombs. In the process an alarm was sounded and the taskforce was surrounded by hundreds of angry and armed combatants. They held off the enemy for three days until a recon unit was sent to investigate the missing unit and the bulk of the Division came to the rescue.   Dox was promoted for her bravery to Captain. As a native of Drinax she was seen as a good candidate to join a Joint Venture with the Kingdom of Drinax for anti-pirate activities. She did not know that the Kingdom had just started sanctioning a Pirate Ship and so the venture was doomed from the beginning. She worked with General Hump, then a Colonel, and the two became very close. It took her completely by surprise when the General betrayed her and used their relationship as basis to have her removed for the task force and have the entire venture disbanded. Her career took a big hit from this and no unit wanted her except her old Commander in the Kellid's Thousand. He gave her a position of trust and started grooming her for his position, but others were not so ready to overlook the Officer who acted like a common whore. She did get her promotion to the head of the Kellid Thousand, renamed to Dox's Dozen as a joke, before she decided not to renew her enlistment.   She was shamed by the Imperium and angry at her treatment. She sought employment where ever she could find it as a mercenary for hire. She gained a new Nickname as Deadly Dox for her overall ability to cause someone pain and death. She was not better then anyone else, but she was versatile and able to accomplish almost any role needed from her. Over time the anger faded and she started to long for home and peace.   That was when she learned about the Aslan invasion. She returned to Drinax for the first time since her Joint Venture with the Imperium and saw the ruin and destruction brought on by the Aslan. She started living as a simple farmer on the outskirts trying to turn the toxic soil into something usable. All around she saw the Aslan using humans for labor. Hunting them for sport. Doing research on them and all without a single care for anything but themselves. It reminded her of the Nobility of Drinax who had conspired to shame her and drive her out and who for generations had not cared about anyone but themselves.    She put aside her tools and took up her weapons and training. She started looking for others who felt as she did and organizing them into cells to strike back at the Aslan Occupation. That was when she learned that General Hump had also started a Resistance Movement. In typical fashion he had set his people up like a military group to undermine and destroy the Aslan through conventional means. Let the lying bastard play his game. Dox would hit them hard and bring them to their knees.   Her terrorist organization grew rapidly and soon Aslan were not safe on the street alone. The smell of fear began to waft from the Floating City where the Aslan lived until finally the Governor took decisive action. Citizens were beaten and many were executed as a way to show they were still in control. It started to turn some people against Dox but more flooded to General Hump's Resistance. This infuriated the Terrorist leader and she doubled down with an attack on the Governor himself. This was her undoing as the Aslan had installed a second surveillance system seperate from the one which the terrorists knew about. The entire attack was a trap and she fell into it. Her face was plastered across the planet and rewards were offered. She was forced into hiding.   She now plots and watches and grows her movement waiting for the moment when the Aslan have forgotten her and she can strike again.
