City of Ghosts

The City of Ghosts is one of the Twin Cities located on the Poison River. Located across the river from the City of Life, the City of Ghosts was once a thriving trade town perfectly positioned on the river. The huge Trade Bridge connected the Twin Cities And served to unite the cultures and the peoples of the two lands. After the great corruption of the Deadlands, the city grew dark and haunted. The people of the city, who were caught in the unnatural darkness, simply disappeared and all trade between the two lands stopped. As the corruption spread dark and loathsome creatures began attempting to cross the great Trade Bridge. After some time, a difficult decision was finally made to destroy the bridge, cutting off all contact between the two cities. From that time forth the city became known as the City of Ghosts, and the City of Life stands guard across the river, always watching and waiting.

Demographics

Defences

The traditional defenses of the city such as walls and towers have gone into disrepair and have begun to crumble over time. However the true defense of the city now lies in its inhabitants.

Industry & Trade

Once a vibrant and rich trade port the Twin Cities were the center of commerce for all kinds of goods. Coal, ore, furs, timber and food were just a few of the goods traded in these river towns.

Assets

The fall of the City of Ghosts to the Deadlands curse was rapid. As a result the wealth of the previously thriving city remains somewhat intact. Over the decades many have attempted to plunder its wealth, however few have returned alive and even less have returned with their sanity. Stories are told of the ghosts of the former residents jealously guarding their wealth. Those caught by these beings are corrupted and remain as undead slaves.
