Draumr

Draumr is a country that takes up the territory between a smallish mountain range forming its north border, and the coast forming its south. As it is difficult to get into, Draumr has historically been able to form its own unique culture with little influence from outside countries or forces, forming its own rich tapestry of thousands of years of development.   There are two main races in Draumr: humans and dragons. They have lived side by side for as long as anyone can remember, attached to each other by an ancient spell known as Bonding. The cultures of the two races have been so intertwined that they are now inseperable; though separate, dragons and humans are unavoidable parts of each others' lives.   Though the world is at the moment flourishing, an unusual decline in magical energy is beginning to threaten the fabric by which the Draumrian people live. When magic fades, so do dragons, and without them half of their world is gone. If the world wishes to rescind the mistakes of their ancestors, they have to go through a journey of royalty, love and heartbreak- and cope with the aftershocks of what happens when they fix things.
