Brefall
Brefall is the largest settlement in the recently formed region of Malikan.
It is a fairly spreadout city, with no definitive start or walls, just houses that gradually become a town, centred around a big temple to the Dawnfather. The town is overlooked by the house of the De Bolbec estate, previously known as Skorpa estate.
Demographics
There is very little variation in wealth and social standing among the peoples of Brefall given its history.
Government
The citizens are generally self-governed, and any disputes are settled by a tribunal.
Defences
The town has very few defences to speak of.
Industry & Trade
Many of the inhabitants work as farmers, as such, a large sum of the city's wealth comes from agricultural exports.
Infrastructure
The Barking Boar Inn, a tavern that functions as a both a rest stop for travellers and a social area for citizens of the city.
The Temple of Paleor, a major temple to the god Paleor at the centre point of the city.
The Shrine to the Changebringer, a smaller shrine dedicated to the godess is located between the centre and outskirts.
History
The land was won by the lower classes in the 10-year rebellion, in which the people tired of being shunned by the higher mages of Tildayor rose up and started to claim land at an alarming rate. After years of peace, the two kingdoms have become close allies.
Architecture
A mix of simple wood and stone housing, nothing sophisticated save for the De Bolbec estate that overlooks the city.
Geography
Located on a large, flat and open plain makes the land ideal for agriculture.
Natural Resources
Grain fields and cattle are plentiful.
