Ishar Continent

Once the seat of a vast Elven Empire during the Dawn Era, the continent of Ishar is now a bleak and desolate place with a cancerous darkness spreading across the land.

Geography

Much of the continent is dominated by the Badlands: a region of hostile desert and desolate communities fighting for survival against the land itself. The Badlands themselves span both Upper and Lower Ishar, with the upper half being composed primarily of sand and cracked earth. Lower Ishar is only slightly more hospitable, with the occasional scraggly bush breaking up the monotony of the landscape.   Despite this, Ishar did once have a bastion for life in the form of the Kingdom of Peloria, blessed as it was by Pelor, God of Agriculture. Since the Fall this kingdom has become, if anything, more hostile to live in than the Badlands.

Maps

  • The World of Drass
The World of Drass was lovingly crafted by the Gods before being used as the primary battleground for their millennia spanning wars. The world is composed of 3 core continents, with the Eastern Isles often being classified as "One and a Half Continents if we're being fair", due to the fate it suffered during the Dawn War.   Home to the Kingdom of Peloria and the Badlands of Ishar, the continent of Ishar is the primary setting of the Rise of the Warlock King Campaign. This particular continent bears many of the physical scars of millennia of godly battles and relentless mortal wars.   The third and final continent is known as Blightfall, a name befitting its apparently cursed nature.
