Rightful Lord of Lyris Hawk Lyre (a.k.a. Little Lordling)
Only son of the Lord of Lyris, Hawk has been groomed to rule all his life. However he lacks the severity that his father prided himself upon, so although he has the skill and acumen to rule he often leans upon his advisors more than he necessarily should. Recent events have begun to shape the young lordling into a true leader however. His once shaggy mane of dark hair is now trimmed, his youthful brown eyes now seem darker and world wearied, and his scholarly robes are being slowly replaced with more regal attire.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Hawk has a sickly constitution as a result of a childhood wasting illness that left him unable to walk for even short periods of time. Spending all his time in a wheelchair has therefore left much of his physical frame impaired.
Body Features
A human with a dark complexion and likewise dark hair and eyes. He has slender arms and hands that seem better acquainted with writing implements than swords or axes.
Facial Features
Hawk is clean shaven, with neatly trimmed shoulder length brown hair. His face is adorned with dark freckles, giving him a perpetually youthful look, much to his chagrin.
Physical quirks
Hawks use of a wheelchair is his only significant physical quirk, although to many of the common class it is enough to justify ostracising and mocking the Little Lordling.
Special abilities
Hawk has dormant magical abilities that everyone but himself seems aware of. He is able to instinctively grasp complex arcane concepts and actually uses his firearm to funnel raw magical power towards his enemies.
Apparel & Accessories
Hawk generally grew up wearing high quality clothing in a scruffy manner. It was not unusual to see him sitting in fine linens that were spotted with ink blots and stained by various chemicals along their cuffs. Since leaving Peloria, he has adjusted to wearing lower quality clothing but in a more noble way.

Through his tinkering, Hawk has invented a specialised firearm that works only for him.

As a result of both his physical infirmities and his noble upbringing, Hawk has never really had the opportunity to explore his sexuality or develop anything close to a personal romantic relationship.

Regularly conversed with many of the prominent tinkerers and inventors of the era.
Accomplishments & Achievements
Leadership of the secretive Pelorian Rebellion, founded and funded by his father Lord Lyre. Under Hawks leadership and with Sa'Sheks guidance, the rebels were able to intercept a prisoner transfer from the ruins of Peloria to the dark capital of Umbral Hill. In the process, they rescued the Unlikely Lot and set the land onto a path to freedom from the Warlock Kings dark oppression.
Failures & Embarrassments
Hawk has been too trusting of people in the past. His trust for his once bodyguard, Gregor Cruelblade, led to him becoming a hostage and bargaining chip. Between this breach of trust and the recent betrayal that led to the death of his father, Hawk now finds it difficult to trust new faces in general.
Mental Trauma
Since the death of his father, Hawk has been plagued by nighttime visitations from the Warlock King himself. This has led to a severe insomnia and mild paranoia.
Intellectual Characteristics
As an inventor and tinkerer, Hawk has a fantastically creative imagination and ability to make these ideas reality.
Morality & Philosophy
Hawk was raised with a simple moral code from his father: Leave the world a better place than you found it. He has since reasoned that pretty much anything is better than the current state of the world, and is becoming more capable of justifying extreme measures to himself in pursuit of a greater good.

Anything involving disassembling and reassembling items, puzzles and concepts falls under Hawks greatest strengths. Although he tends to also take this view to people, making him appear somewhat alien to the common folk.

Love to be alone, tinkering with devices. Not as fond of spicy food, which unfortunately seems to be common in the Badlands he now calls home.
Vices & Personality flaws
Slight paranoia, almost obsessive when working on a new project that he deems important. Also finds it difficult to really believe in himself as much as those around him do.
Personality Quirks
When he falls into a fit of laughter, it can unfortunately lead to him gasping for breath and snorting. This just makes him laugh more.
