A somehow more eventful day...

Well, where to start... What was intended to be a simple day to stock up supplies for our trip to Dusk Keep turned into perhaps our most eventful days yet. What seemed like a routine execution, of which I have seen many, turned into absolute chaos. One of those being executed seemed to be known to the others from a previous encounter, this cannot be good... Just as it seemed I was going to receive some information about what was going on a cloaked figure emerged from the crowd, and what a surprise, they knew him too. It seems as though I pulled the short straw from the group of contracts available. I do have to admit my earlier thoughts of Garan, while seemingly accurate, were potentially uncalled for, his sword swinging seemed to come in quite useful. He managed to save Feiy, quite heroically, it seems as though she isn't capable of looking after herself unfortunately. On the other hand Feiy does seem to have the most cognitive ability of the lot of them, perhaps the best able to hold an intelligent conversation.

A very weird day

Well, I can't say I expected the day to go this terribly, even with this bunch. Less well prepared then I first thought. They of course required my papers to gain access to Tinder-Spark, it seems I am working with peasants. I am not sure about this Helo woman, curious if that is in fact even a name, although it does seem to reflect her intelligence. She seems unwilling to even want to use her brain and instead elects to just run up and touch things like a small child, I had thought I would prefer to spend more time with fellow arcane beings, although at this point I feel even Garan is a safer bet in search for intellectual conversation. On a small side note this 'egg with a leg' creature absorbed a lot of magic and has now hatched into a crysmal, a very rare creature I've only come across in ancient texts. Perhaps something there to study as I have a feeling it will be sticking with us for a while.   Hopefully as I spend time with these people they will become more bearable, although I must say today has been taxing.

The beginning of a very unexpected journey

Well today was interesting... I was called in again by the Shadow for contracted work, they want me to assist a group known as 'The Unlikely Lot', can't say I'm particularly looking forward to it. As much as I try to avoid dumb brutes that like to swing their swords instead of using their brains, it seems like I will have to work with one for the foreseeable future, they call him Garan, and he seems to have an incredibly fascination with Dragons, maybe he has some useful information I can use in my research? Unlikely but worth a shot. The rest of them seem more normal at least, although some of them are more on the emotional side, they seem to be grieving the recent loss of a friend of theirs, some religious fanatic I gather, seems futile to have such emotion way upon ones mind, just the nature of less cognitively able beings I suppose.
