Kahalidra

Kahalidra are an extraordinary race of creatures native to Kahalidar. These beings exhibit a unique combination of arachnid and beetle-like features, including the iconic eight legs of spiders and a thick, protective chitinous exoskeleton. In addition to their eight legs, Kahalidra possess an extra pair of tri-dactyl arms tipped with sharp claws, allowing for dexterity and manipulation of objects. These creatures have eight black eyes and a ninth sanguine-coloured eye in the center of their forehead, enabling them to detect and see arcane energy.
Kahalidra are highly intelligent, sapient beings that typically lead solitary lives, coming together only for mating or territorial defence. They are drawn to and feed on arcane energy found in arcane artifacts, ley lines, or spellcasters.
Kahalidra are formidable adversaries due to their intelligence, dexterity, and arcane abilities. Although not naturally aggressive, they fiercely protect their territories and arcane energy sources. Their venomous bite poses an additional danger to those who encounter them.
