The Virulent Necrocracy
The Necrocracy is a magocratic nation ruled by a family of blue dragons and further lead by a spellcasting social class of necromancers. Governmental power is proportional to magical capability and the necromancers with the power to raise the largest undead militias maintain full jurisdiction to enforce their will on their subjects. The Necrocracy dominates the desert region of Euchos and a small forested region north of there.
Life in the desert is harsh and unforgiving. Nomadic tribes travel from oasis to oasis, and small farming communities form around wizard towers to appease necromancer warlords and the dragon families that rule the desert; both demanding service and reverence. Goods and services are as likely to be traded as coin, but true wealth comes from arcane knowledge and eldritch prowess. Rural people follow aeromancy and air rituals inherited by the majority Air Genasi people.
