The Great Emberscale Confederacy

The Emberscale Confederacy is a hegemonic alliance of smaller nations and city-states, united under one confederate banner by a family of brass dragons who make their home in Trobix's volcano. Along with the volcano, confederate territory encompases the northern half of the continent, including two great lakes and it's dense jungle forest. The people of Emberscale believe in freedom and the fight for it. Membership in the confederacy requires contribution of a set number of soldiers, and the threat of invasion from The Rovrorthi Unwavering Empire to the south ensures warrior culture is always held in high esteem. The fire genasi who make up the majority population share their fire based culture of passion and action, ideologies which are quickly embraced by the other members of the various city-states and villages. The people are quick to take arms in defense of their autonomy and accept authority only as it ensures it, a point the ruling brass dragon families ensure to note in their diplomatic duties. They also believe in coming to the aid of others and defending the downtrodden.
