Aasimar

The War of Divinity left Drahman lands rife with divine power. Primordial and divine energies constantly flow and ebb in the world, and such powerful primal powers occasionally influence or alter the nature of their surroundings. This is also true of some who have been born in proximity to such a source of power or under the winds of the divine, and of those who travel the places where major events of War of Divinity took place for long enough to find the seed of divine power take root within their blood.    These divine-touched folk now harbor the potential to give birth to aasimar, people born with facets of the force that altered their parents—though aasimar of the same element can also give birth to asimar children. Though aasimar bear no visible features hinting at their divine progeny, they have clearly become something else entirely.   It is only when agitated or when tapping into the inner strength granted by their ancestry that their facial features are augmented with divine traces and subtle abilities manifest, becoming alien and something new altogether.   While such people are rare within Drahman, they are most common among the humans due to their general acceptance of different races.   (All 3 subraces – Protector, Scourge and Variant aasimar are allowed – please talk to the DM about the implications of the origin)
