Structure

Exposition

Sterling is somewhat familiar with Zelaak, as he grew up in Bazvaal. They were thrown in prison for having a Devils Gem.

Conflict

Prince Adegoke will execute the players if they dont aid him and tell him why they have a Devils Gem.
The Players explain but are sent to capture Prekius for their freedom.

Rising Action

The Players are sent out to the desert to hunt down Prekius. They find his camp and are eventually stuck in an infinite looping path illusion and must find a way out.
The Illusion is in a massive desert castle submerged in the sand. The players have to do a perfect loop of the dungeon or they are sent back to the beginning of the dungeon after an in game hour.
What determines a perfect loop is stopping the Gnoll Lycanthrope Lord at the end of the Dungeon from transforming into a weregnoll without killing him.

Climax

After the players escape, they find Prekius in the tower of the castle, an old man who is wise, fair, but tricky. They are tasked with bringing him back alive to Zelaak.

Falling Action

After returning Prekius, they see Adegoke and granted freedom aswell as another task.

Resolution

They are given the task of aiding Adegoke in the defeat of Nelphath and the protection of the mortal plane. And Sterling is told to go back to Djare, his home. He finds his old home and a bounty hunter that was waiting for him to return.

Components

Goals

The Players wish to free themselves from Adegokes Prison.

Hooks

Adegoke knows who Sterling is and will grant him amnesty if the goal is reached. He also knows who the bounty hunter who killed his gang is.

Stakes

The players will be executed if they cant free themselves.
