Bazvaal (Bahz Voal)

Bazvaal is full of unforgiving, scorching wastelands along with rocky badlands and strong, hardy cities.

Religion

Most Bazvaalian people are religiously devoted to the God of Rain. This belief shines through when it does rain. Hundreds to rush outside with special vases held upto the sky to catch the rainwater, usually believing this rainwater to be a gift from the God of Rain himself. They usually drink this water in religious practices and bless their houses with it by pouring it into large pots, which they use for various practices, such as washing important items, and soaking their jewelry.

Nomadic Nature

Most Bazvaalians who dont belong to a major city, such as Zelaak, or roam with a Bandit Gang, are nomads who travel along the dangerous roads of Bazvaal surviving off of knowledge of the land.

Assets

Bazvaal has the biggest amount of gold and jewels in the world, partly due to all the workers turning to mining in the canyons of Bazvaal because of the lack of jobs in the deserts.

History

Bazvaal was once a deep pit built by the Gods to contain some of the most evil and vile creatures in the world. Century after Century, creatures died and rotted away, eventually building up mounds and mounds of dust and bone, eventually culminating into a grand Desert of death and despair. The creatures that did survive the pit still roam Bazvaal, always on the brink of starvation. Some say some legendary beast is buried deep into the sands of Bazvaal, always on the brink of waking up...but who knows.

Zelaak

Zelaak is the largest city in Bazvaal, protected by massive one hundred and fifty foot stone walls on every side carved ages ago by Thri-Kreen slaves. The current ruler, Prince Adegoke came into power years ago after his father, King Ademole, was assassinated.

Bazvaals wide, dry, barren desert is hard for humans to live off of, making it natural for the bandits who make it to be cut throat monsters. The scavengers of Bazvaal are among some of the most dangerous groups in the southern world. Masters of swords and bows, camouflage, riders of the sand devils, and pros at desert survival.
