Naming Traditions

While naming traditions depend on the blood castle, a lot of time's they'll include a lot of I's, Q's, Z's, X's, W's, and Y's. P's are also common too. A lot of the time, children will be named after the parent's in some way (For Instance, Vodex was named after Endrex), and that can even change into a family name (Ti is common last name for the Yelow Blood's because it was used to much in their names that it became a surname.)

Major Organizations

The Dragoshi Royal Family, the Church of the Children of Void (Or just CCV), the Dragoshi military. Fire's Church is a hidden and illegal organization where Dragoshi worship Fire.

Beauty Ideals

While Beauty ideals vary from Blood Teir to Blood tier, beauty ideals still exist. Braided hair is seen as a very beautiful thing. Being very tall and very strong is seen as incredibly HOT. For Emperise's, looking as elegant as possible. Jewelry, metal armor, long and silky outfits, often long hair too. For the lower blood castles, strength is seen as something beautiful, even though it's desirable across all Blood Tiers. For higher blood tiers, being tall is seen as beautiful because, to the higher blood tiers, it makes them stand out and be more "elevated" than the low blood's.

Gender Ideals

None, however, it's actually more expected that women go into military service than men.

Relationship Ideals

Depends on your level in the Blood Castle system. Those with lower blood teirs are expected to find a mate that's a productive member of Dragoshi Society as quickly as possible (due to their short life spans), while those higher up are allowed to take their time.

Average Technological Level

The Internet, computers, hand-held devices, and electricity have been discovered. The start's of space travel and exploration, and there's a planned attempt to put a colony on one of Wyvirix's moons.

Major Language Groups and Dialects

The main Dragoshi Langauge is Draik (also called Dragosh or Dragoshi), but the old Dragoshi Language (called Old Dragoshi or Dryik) is still known is a very limited way by some (some portions of the Void's Bible is written in Dryik). The Northern and Southern Dialects are almost identical, but Slang, pronunciation, and stuff like that are different.

Common Etiquette Rules

Have common sense, be nice to those you meet, be respectful to your elders and those above you, don't denounce Void or talk back to the High Bloods.

Common Dress Code

Often wear long clothes (due to it being colder at night), for lower blood's clothes are often used, made out of okay-ish material, and make sense for their profession. Higher Blood's have more flowy clothes, with thick and fancy fabrics, lot's of detail, and wear a lot of jewelry. It isn't uncommon for the higher blood's to integrate pieces of armor into their outfits. Lower Blood's only wear fancy outfits to special events and often wear more "plain" or "casual" clothing. Hoodies are very popular.

Common Customs, Traditions and Rituals

Most celebrations revolve around Void and the Night. When Both Moon's are in their full or new moon phases are often major celebrations, since it's believed that Void watches the Dragoshi through the moons. New Moon celebrations are very loud and party-ish since it's believed that when the moons go into their new moon phases, it means that Void is falling asleep and the Dragoshi need to wake him up. Full Moon parties are very formal, and more hush-hush, in order to be the opposite of New Moon parties.
On Wyvirix's "Summer Solstice," a holiday called "Firelight" is observed. Firelight is similar to Halloween and Días Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) here on Earth, but with a Dragoshi Twist. During the time's shortly after the Uniting Conquerers, during the reign of Marxious the 1st Great King, it was believed on this day that demons created by Fire, evil and restless spirits, and creatures from the Otherworld, could walk among the Dragoshi, and thus latch onto their mind, body, and soul and cause havoc and unrest. Thus, the traditions of Firelight observed today were created.
It is Dragoshi tradition to always keep your wings folded when inside somebody else's house. Partially out of common curtesy (as unfolding one's wings can knock over things and cause messes), but partially because the Dragoshi see unfolded wings that are not being used as either a sign of Dominance, Aggression, or a challenge, and that it's rude to try and be these things inside somebody else's household.
It is considered a custom to bless someone and their family before they enter your household, or you enter theirs. A common blessing is "Void bless you, those close to you, and all that you own, with safety and prosperity."
To the Dragoshi, if one wants to nonverbally bless someone, one makes a certain movement. It involves spreading out one's fingers, crossing your arms (with the back of your hands facing up), and the hands over your chest (close to the collarbone). The thumbs are touching, and the fingertips of the other four fingers should be touching the shoulders. This is also done after praying to Void.

Common Taboos

• Cannibalism. For obvious reasons.

• Incest. While the Dragoshi view Incest differently then humans do, they do view Incest as a taboo. Marrying and Reproducing with children, close relatives, and elders that are close to passing on, are viewed as incest. Marrying within your blood castle, however, is not. To put it into basics, marrying your close/immediate family is considered incest, but marrying within your blood castle is not. What the Purple Blood's do is also not considered incest. The DNA of each tier of the Purple Blood's Blood Tier is different enough where it's only considered incest if you marry within your Blood Tier.

• Worshiping Fire. While the Dragoshi are tolerant of the fact that the A'ki worship Fire, they're not tolerant of other Dragoshi doing so. To them, Fire is a fallen god that betrayed Void and the Dragoshi. He drains one's energy, producing things like Deciete and Ignorance, and tries to keep the Dragoshi from obtaining their Ultimate Truth when they die. Thus, worshiping Fire is not only seen as a Taboo but a violation and direct REFUSAL to one's birthright under Void.

Historical Figures

• Marxious the 1st Great King. This is due to his major role in unifying the Dragoshi through a set of Conquer's, apparently guided by the purest-blooded Dragoshi, also known as the Black Blood Prophet.

• The Twin Emperises'. The Twin Emperises', who's names were Uroal and Reuru were an example of why the ancient tradition of killing your sibling in order to be legiable for the throne, should not ever be done away with. Uroal, unable to kill his brother, decided to instead keep him alive, claiming that they both should rule. Then, the two worked together to kill their father, the current Emperise. However, their reign quickly went sour. Uroal and Reuru could not work together, and soon a power struggle formed. In the end, the Dragoshi revolted and stormed the Palace. Reuru fled, but they captured Uroal and killed him. They found Reuru a few days later and captured him alive. Since Uroal had no children, Reuru's son and daughter were next in line. The daughter, Quizn'i, had defeated her brother a month earlier. In order to make her rule valid, she executed Reuru on charges of Treason and Defilement of Void's Sacred Laws.

Common Myths and Legends

Their creation myth, their myth on how the blue-bloods of the spectrum got turned into the A'ki, how the Purple Bloods came to power, the Black-Blooded Prophet, A lot of emperor's in ancient historical texts have no evidence of existing and thus are concidered "Myth and Legend"

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions

While the Dragoshi have never truly liked the A'ki, they had to admit that the A'ki were just as smart and powerful as the Dragoshi were. To them, the A'ki were to be treated as equals in time of peace. After all, in their holy books, Void says "The A'ki, while they were created by Fire's doing and thus worship him, are not enemies and evil. They have spouses, and children, and jobs, and love, and knowledge, and all that you have. They were once like us, and thus should be treated like you would one of your own when you're not fighting. For not doing so keeps one from learning about the A'ki, and what they are like, and thus keeps one from their Truth."
The Dragoshi also have rules for the treatment of non-intelligent species. To them, all animals should be treated kindly. Wild animals should always have a habitat, and the Dragoshi should keep from destroying it. For pollution of the earth, air, and water it a horrible thing and hurts all. Al animals should be treated with Kindness and Respect and should be given distance and be allowed to be wild.
