Session 9 Report
General Summary
The party gathers some mysterious potions and the belongings of Sodgar Gradz from the Tower of Infernos and set off deeper into the Embering Forest. They encounter a Harpy along the way. They ask it why it's in the forest, and it responded: "This is my home, you are my food."
During the first turn of combat, Aerovant falls into some quicksand while in bear form. Rogue gets the harpy with an arrow, but the harpy starts singing her song. All but Aerovant fail the check. Rogue breaks out of the song and pulls Aerovant out. Vortigern also breaks free, and she and Aerovant start dealing damage to the harpy. The harpy tries to retreat, but Vortigern lops her head off with a greataxe with her opportunity attack.
