The younger aspect of Goa'din, the selfless merchant lord, Gulen'vii has maintained this form through his own untamable selfishness and greed. A merchant like his future self, Gulen'vii instead seeks riches and the most debased pleasures extreme wealth can derive.

Gulen'vii seeks to expand his wealth at the expense and exploitation of all others. His wealth is so massive that Gulen'vii wants not and wishes not, he only preoccupies himself with debauchery and debasement in order to attempt to use his money nearly as fast as he makes it. But somehow the money keeps coming and the vice follows with it.
