The Grey Cloaks

A crew of former Bluecoats turned to crime after being framed and expelled from the City Watch.
The Grey Cloaks are all former the Bluecoats who were framed for a crime committed byb their Watch station commander. Sure, they were skimming from the city coffers and taking bribes like everyone else, but they didn't burn down the Watch station and destroy the evidence against Lord Strangford. The expelled men and women were banded together by Nessa and Hutch. They have secured the basement of a burned-down City Watch station as their headquarters and have set up a small network of illegal activities such as pit fighting and gambling.
Several Inspectors who were working the case know the truth but are unable to prove anything. Lord Strangford would pay well to have these lose ends removed permanently, eliminating the only people the Grey Cloaks could call allies. slowly they have been amassing a trained gang of enforcers, with many defecting from the Bluecoats and others just seeking advancement, power, or money. they have their old uniforms and badges and often use them to pass themselves off as the City Watch.
