The Billhooks
A tough gang of thugs who prefer hatchets, meat hooks and pole arms.
They are based out of the Crows Foot and the Docks. their HQ is a butcher shop, but they have several stockyards, slaughterhouse, animal fighting pits and gambling dens. There are a number of terrified merchants and businesses that they are extorting. They have a large gang of bloodthirsty butchers and a pack of death-dogs that they can call upon in their dealings with other factions.
The Billhooks are lead by Tarvul, his sister Erin, Coran. They have been known to call upon The Bluecoats and the Ministry of Preservation to look the other way when they are enacting their reigns of Terror. Their vicious reign of terror has also caused them to make many enemies. Ulf Ironborn, The Lost and even the citizenery of Crows foot and the Docks all oppose their methods and presence.
The Billhooks have a bloody reputation, often leaving butchered corpses of their victims strewn about in a grisly display. Both Erin and Coran are manoeuvring to take control of the gang. as Tarvul is in Prison and ageing the question is only whether they will wait from him to retire with age or take the position by force. There is no love lost between the two of them, and they have no qualms about fighting another family member for leadership. Whilst this cold war continues the rank and file of the gang are keen to continue their reign of terror to pressure a magistrate to pardon Tarvul and other gang members, granting them pardons from their sentences.
