Mistport

Mistport is the only city that can claim to be a part of the Dagger Isles. It exists as an enclave on the Iruvian Coast after having been conquered by the seaborne forces that roam the Isles. Prior to this it had existed as a trade enclave of the Iruvian empire, and however well defended it is from the land, the sea front belongs to those who are based there. As the Cataclysm made long distance travel extremely difficult the Iruvians did not attempt to reclaim this lost city. It was able to continue to thrive under the Dagger Islanders, becoming a safe haven and neutral ground for when disputes between fleets broke out. The city exists on many islands and pontoons, allowing those who are at home on the water to feel comfortable here. The city survives on trade and services it provides for sailors from all ports. The City also does not boast a lightning barrier which often causes terror in the hearts of those not native to the isles. Every Islander grows up without the benefit of lightning barriers and every tribe has their own secret rights and rituals to survive the spirit haunted coasts.
