Kethrys

Kethrys is a key hub of learning in Iruvia, second only to the academies in Doskvol across the Shattered Isles. Situated on the coast scholars have come here to learn for centuries. One of the first to adopt lightning barriers after their invention this city has seen marvellous growth within the confines of these walls. Each tower supporting the barrier has been adapted and changed, tweeked and improved over the centuries until they each stand as unique monuments to the houses that have supported them. The buildings in this city, cramped as they are stretch ever higher, as technology and science improves the structural stability they grow further. in the harbour stands the grand halls of Kethrys, both a grand library and place of learning. Many scholarly treaties are published here year on year, with scholars and students arguing across all subjects. There is a huge amount of pride for every Iruvian for the city of Kethrys, each hoping that one day it will surpass all other institutes across the Imperium.
