Coalridge
Coalridge is home to most of the machinists, industrial labourers, and factories of the city. It's cramped soot choked and loud- spewing dense clouds of black smoke, showers of sparks, and burning cinders. The old elevated train lines that once hauled coal now carry heavy equipment and raw materials to and from Gaddoc Station, though many of the ancient tracks and cars have been abandoned to squatters who have converted them into makeshift homes.
Between the tall and narrow brick row houses are metal clad factories and warehouses. The soot-covered workers trudge home from the factories hacking up black bile. the heavy cargo brought by rail is hauled from them by tall cranes. The bosses of the factory can be seen lashing workers for infractions. on crowded streets filled with discarded junk and crates run street tough waifs. squatters cool their meals in the coal engines of abandoned train cars that have been converted into makeshift dwellings.
