Cloudspire

Very few communities are found within the highest peaks of the Devils Tooth mountain range, and yet on a small plateau at great height is the city of cloudspire. After the Cataclysm this city was thought to be lost for many centuries, its height and remoteness meant that few would choose to seek it out, but as the Imperium expanded and the city states were slowly brought into submission this city was reconnected with the outside world. They had survived through grit and determination, exploiting the vents of heated gas that escaped from the mountains around them. in these warmed caves, luminescent algae were cultivated, and food cultivated. works of engineering and problem solving different with no logical connection to the solutions found elsewhere within the Imperium. it has since become a keystone in the Akarosi province, providing men, supplies and technical skills for whatever project is required. The re-admission into the Imperium did not come without a cost and a bitter war was conducted before they would become full fledged citizens. Fortunately for the Imperium this war all happened in (a somewhat) Honorable field of battle, with the city left untouched until peace was declared. Despite this the city quickly relished in the new opportunities and technologies they had access to, embracing the cosmopolitan nature of the wider Imperium.
