Alduara

Alduara is the southern most city in the Isles, from here numerous expeditions into the southern void sea have been launched but none have ever returned. its buildings are made out of white sandstone, giving the city an unnatural feel silhouetted against the black sand deserts that surround it. Founded around an oasis, this city grew steadily, able to utilise artificial irrigation to build up a stable food production network that is supplemented by catches from the sea. It has survived for so many years it has become a bustling city, and since the instillation of Electro-rails connecting it to the rest of the province it has been able to export its surplus food across the empire. Academics have been investigating the agricultural production of this city for centuries to determine how it is able to grow so much so quickly. From the black earth, the abundant oasis, the heat of the region, or a combination of all of these, but here crops grow rapidly sustaining the population.
