Master plot: The coming of Azathoth
Cuthulu rises, and begins to summon his god and master, Azathoth. This process shall take 15 years, and our heroes arrive on the last night of the fifth. This gives our players 10 years to defeat Cuthulu and prevent Azathoth’s destructive coming.
(Note: while first creating this page, I had laboured under the misapprehension that Azathoth had been a seperate entity, and did not know that reality was supposedly his dream. Therefore, Cuthulu is basically just bringing in an entity whose coming shall eradicate all life on earth. Sorry ‘bout that.)
Plot points/Scenes
The players saw the rise of Cuthulu from his slumber in R’lyeh when they shot past it in the sleigh.
Structure
Exposition
Before the players had come, they had been brought to a pocket dimension of sorts called Joy inc. for a Christmas campaign. They entered Dorwine through killing Santa and attempting to return home in his sleigh. This went poorly, and they crashed in the woods near Pella’s wish, but not before they had seen the rise of Cuthulu in R’lyeh.
