Dorgmund

A world of wars, where peace is but a short reprieve. A world once touched by "Sky Gods" who fought all across the lands, skies and seas, now held by those who claim to be their descendants, and natives who dare lay claim to their artefacts.   In the far north, monstrosities rumoured to come from another realm seek to corrupt the rest of the world, to overcome and defile it's own magic that is their anathema, while bitter and twisted men of an authoritarian regime unfurl their plans for world domination. In the mid-southwest, tendril-laden horrors seek to continue their quest to devour and assimilate all life of flesh and blood in the world, setting off in every direction, fighting the warrior-trader alcidae of the south poles, chivalrous golem-pilots to their northeast, and the towering avian lords of the mid-northwestern Suzerainty, who now mobilize to take the fight to this tentacled threat and the rest of the wicked powers that seek to desolate the world. And these are just two of the great regions of battle, where conflicts of interest are found aplenty and vast armies clash and besiege each others' territories.   This is a world of warring nations, a world of scattered artefacts waiting to be uncovered and fought over, and a world under threat from inhuman and corrupting forces, yet there are those who choose, beyond immediate neighbours and relics, to fight against this corruption, and end it once and for all.This is... Dorgmund!   (Dorgmund is a militaristic "mid-fantasy" setting inspired by works such as Warhammer Fantasy and Warlords Battlecry, among many others, I hope you enjoy reading about this world when it becomes more complete!)
