History of Dorakor

The Second Great Dragon-Wyvern War was a conflict that plagued the world for 4 years. As the name suggest, it was between dragons, the most common sentient species of Dorakor, and wyverns, which were at the time the second most common. It was lead in secret by Tadaror, a dragon general, who was sick of the way wyverns were treated by dragons. While his intentions were good, it became clear that his actions were not, often leading to destroying entire villages and killing any dragon along his path with his wyvern followers. Since he worked in the shadows, the dragons blamed the wyverns for all the disaster that he was causing, which lead to officially starting the war, on the 23rd day of the Month of Shadow. It was only thanks to Garagor, a dragon criminal, and his gang of misfit, that they were able to ultimately defeat Tagrador and bring back peace to the world. It didn't come without consequences however. The wyverns, once proud race spread all over the world, became extremely rare, to the point that currently most of them decided to live in Brekokador, a harsh environment, far away from most dragon settlements.
