The Bleeding War

The Bleeding War was a military conflict initiated by Domeris when the royal army of Domeris lead by king Andras the fifth crossed the border and attacked several Lorandian Free Forces formations. The war would turn out to be a costly mistake, as the United Republics of Lorand would emerge triumphant after several years of devastating war.

The LFF was initially outnumbered at the start of the war, with only around 600,000 troops ready at the start, but would swell to over a million men and women at arms over the course of the war.

The royal army of Domeris started the war with around 800,000 soldiers deployed, but grew to around 900,000 at their highest extent a year after the war started.

Casualties

The LFF suffered over 80,000 wounded and over 50,000 killed.

The royal army suffered heavy casualties, suffering over 150,000 wounded and 120,000 killed. Over 500,000 royal soldiers were captured or interred over the course of the war.

Objectives

Initially stopping the Domerian attack, later the complete capitulation of Domeris.

Initially the destruction of the republican government of Lorand, later the defeat of invading Lorandian forces.
