Dolne

Dolne's history is one of war and rebirth. At the nexus of a planar pinch point, the plane has strategic importance to most of the major deities across the multiverse.   During the last age, an extensive war between fiends, star spawn & celestials devastated the surface of Dolne, forcing its mortal inhabitants into fragmented, primitive bands and its great civilizations to rubble.   In the end, the celestials prevailed, closing the known invasion portals and fortifying the realm with powerful spells and wards. As a result, planar travel to and from Dolne is limited, effectively cutting it off from the multiverse.   The protection the isolation spells allowed the mortals of Dolne to rebuild and organize into some semblance or the powerful kingdoms of the past.   BUT, the protective spells of the celestials are weakening. More and more the world of Dolne drifts too close to the other planes, influencing the environment and allowing creatures into and out of Dolne. The celestial fear that the fiend and star swpan may try to claim Dolne once again.
